DigitHaus wins the Interwoven Component Developer Contest

Innovative Social Media Component Outshines Tough Competition

SAN JOSE, Calif. — February 17, 2009 — Interwoven, Inc. (NASDAQ: IWOV), a global leader in content management solutions, today announced that DigitHaus, a Web application development company, won the TeamSite SitePublisher Component Contest. Members of DevNet, Interwoven’s developer community, were invited to use the TeamSite SitePublisher framework to build creative, flexible and reusable Website components.

DigitHaus’s winning entry – “User Comments” – is a set of social networking technology components that allow developers to drop moderated comments on any Website page. There is also a "User Comments Administration" component that allows a moderator to view, sort, filter, delete and export the user comments.

“We ran the entries through a rigorous set of criteria and DigitHaus came out as the winner,” said Todd Scallan, vice president of product management at Interwoven. “But in a bigger sense the real winners are the developers and Web community who will benefit from the inventiveness of DigitHaus and the other contestants. It’s that ability to leverage the innovation of DevNet developers and the flexibility of the TeamSite SitePublisher framework that help make Interwoven such a robust environment for Website developers.”

“I loved working with SitePublisher. It is very easy to customize existing components and to build brand new ones, and I know what I develop will reach a large audience,” said winning developer James Hays of DigitHaus. “The best Websites accommodate dialogue between the site’s publisher and its users, and I’m excited to be recognized for an application that helps facilitate user participation.”

Other notable contest entries include Shutterfly's "Marquee Image” component, judged the best marketing component, and the Klish Group's "Dynamic Table" component which scored the highest on technical robustness and documentation. All the contest entries will be made available on DevNet for Interwoven developers and can be viewed at http://devnet.interwoven.com/site.fcgi/techlib/index.html.
